I feel disappointed that I have had time only for a dozen or so books this year. Of those two of them really stand out.
One: Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs, simply because of the obsurdity of it. Not often have I read a book all the while muttering WTF under my breath.
Two: The Old Man and The Sea, by Ernest Hemingway. while only a novella, (I actually read it in its entirety on the airplane while flying to Mexico this summer) the short book speaks volumes about the soul and the nature of men.
Honestly E, I couldn't agree with MT more on this quote.

Books just don't do it for me anymore. I would much rather be listening to music if I'm just gonna be sitting there passing the time away...
but wait! I do like to read the newspaper every morning.
how do you take a dump with out a book?
Hahahahaha, good one.
