Did you know that?

Approximately one-half of one percent of the annual world-wide output of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide is due to soft drink carbonation.

Eric, where did you get that statistic? I don't think it could possibly be true. I've heard of some industries capturing some of their CO2 waste and selling it for use in soft drinks. But when this CO2 is dissolved in water, it actually removes CO2 from the atmosphere.

I tried to find a source for this, and all roads led back to a guy named Kyle H. Stoneman, who is not an expert in the field. In fact, he runs a website named gullible.info.
