random thoughts
Communism is not compatible with human biology. That is why the communist nations were always at the brink of starvation. People need a "selfish" reason to do the basic things that society needs to be done.

I heard it said once, maybe it was Benjamin Franklin; I’m not sure. That if you analyze all known economic systems you will find capitalism to be the most effective for humans, albeit it tends to make them a bit mean spirited.
I tried to find this quote this morning, but I time is not on my side.
