As soon as your born they make you feel small
By giving you no time instead of it all
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
then they expect you to pick a career,
when you can't really function you're so full of fear,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV,
and you think you're so clever and classless and free,
But you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
There's room at the top they are telling you still,
but first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
if you want to be like the folks on the hill,
A working class hero is something to be.
A working class hero is something to be.
If you want to be a hero well just follow me,
if you want to be a hero well just follow me.

Just something to think about on your Friday afternoon....

working class hero, J. Lennon

wow, deep man. that John L...
It never ceases to amaze me that some crazy rat bastard decided to put a handfull of bullets in him. but a useless oxygen thief like Micheal Jackson still is bouncing around, cramming it in every little boy whose parents are brain dead enough to let him near.
I mean, come on gents, you are parents. would you allow the center of your world to have a spend the night party at neverland ranch? I would rather my boys go to space camp.

yeah, sometimes the world is very unfair and unjust. I sometimes wonder how different the world of music would be if John had lived.

I am also 98% certain this song was originally done by Mr. Bob Dylan. Rather fitting too....

Cry Baby, Joplin.

Nope it was most certainly John. But I must confess that I had never paid any attention to these lyrics, as I hardly ever do with any song. However they do really strike a nerve somewhere below the belt, I have thought very similarly on more than two occasion.

Can we have an Offmen outing to Space Camp, Colin and I both want to go, and really bad!!!

None, just about to walk out the door.
