I could argue this point. there seems to be some facts that are fairly profane. that fucker who drowned his daughter who's in the news today. that's pretty damn profane but I suppose not truly a fact.

I think it's more the definition of truth. Veritas. Certainty. There is no arguing fact. It just is. Neither sacred, nor profane.
