that's tough, I am partial to the Legend of John Henry, cause it reminds me of my Grandpa. and the song about the Shoe Shine Boy cause it reminds me that matter how crappy it gets. there is allways a bright side.
Favorite Johnny Cash Song? Tough one there are so many, but I think that right now I am most smitten for “Thirteen” a song penned by Glen Danzig specifically for his idol Mr Cash.

Him and June Carter Cash wrote some of the great ones that define Americana. Especially John though, some of his songs are priceless in time.
I think that ANY band here in the US that starts out and doesnt mention Johnny as a major influence is not even worth givin a listening to from the start. He is the MOST influential songwriter of the 20th Century.
