Bike the Drive

As most of you know, I (and my family) am a little bit addicted to cycling. This year for mothers day we got a family pass to Bike the Drive.
if your un familiar, the Chicagoland Bicycle Assoc. convinced Daley and his cronies to close Lake Shore Drive for a morning and open it to cycling only.
We did it last year with Tiffs brother Dan (our cycling guru), and this year we went with the kids. Here are links to the Bike the Drive pictures (I think)

Jake

Max (& Me)

Tiff (&Me)

we all had a great time, we rode 15 miles, and took the CTA with our bikes, It was quite an adventure.

Thanks for sharing....

Pete, thanks for sharing. I think its great when Offmen share there lives with the blog. Although it does not always inspire much commentary, it defiantly leaves me feeling more connected with my brothers, and a little less like a politically motivated freak.

I can share by announcing that today (6/14/06) is my 4th wedding anniversary. And I can also celebrate that Mo hasn't smothered me to death in my sleep yet.

and PJ, this sounds like it would be a lot of fun too. It would be odd to be able to cycle down that stretch of road, but very cool.

Thanks for the congrats. I'm at work during the night, so poor Mo has to deal w/ the waking nightmares that are our daughters during the wee hours. I'm playing Sudoku online and drinking Red Bull or coffee in the office where the only sound is the white noise hum of computer hard drives and my desk fan. That's where I get my 8.75 hours of quiet time.
