What's up with Face Book?

So I have had an account on a few social networking sites for the last three or four years now, I.E. myspace, linkedin, and FaceBook mostly for the purpose of keeping in touch with and growing my business associate data base. But all the sudden with in the last three weeks or so there has been a real flood of people and chatter on Face Book, and I now find my self visiting it more in one day than I have in the last 3 years. I guess I have to concede to becoming a little hooked on this thing. Maybe I finally have gone Koo Koo for Coco Puffs... I don't know. Any one else experience this as late?

Tehehehehe,Thanks E

Very sleepy... the littlest is critter has yet to sleep through the night.

I wrote this post with you in mind. Some times I get the feeling that this blog can be a little slow for you, and honestly it can at times be for me. The fun with face book lies in the "news feed" which is sort of like Twitter. It all starts with a short line on your home page that asks "what are you doing right now?" When you click on this feild the title chnges to(for example "Scott is"...) and then you ad a very short blurb. which can be sort of silly at times. mine this morning was "Scott is fantasizing about sleep". I am sure you get the point. It can be very fast paced with lots of chatter from your friends.

Sounds very interesting, Ive just never gotten into any of those sights. Ive kinda wanted to veer away from Face book because their are certain people that I would not like to find me and Ive heard its super easy to locate people there.

My Space has become a joke, I have an acct. only so I can view my close friends pages from around here to see what they are up to, but I dont use it in any other way.

I guess this lonely blog will remain my outlet on the intrawebs, heh.

BTW, Im glad the tiny wee one is OK, but I can relate to those endless nights, Ava was like that for a while too. I hope sleep heads your way soon.

Hey, do message boards count as social interfacing online? If so, I had forgotten, there are several Social D. message boards out there that I do lurk around on a near daily basis.

Well it is true that finding people is as easy as looking for them on Facebook. I only have a very limited amount of info about me on that, and any site for that matter. Just being on the web has a degree of risk.

I will have to poke around some of those SD message boards.

wow there are a ton of social D groups on Face book....

Hope your day is going well

One of the Guys I went to HighSchool with opened a Restaurant in Ft Myers, his only Web presence in on MySpace. I have been contiplating opening a myspace account for my Shop, to appeal to the BMX and Fixed gear (younger) crowd.
I had a personal MySpace site some time ago but closed it after leaving the restaurant biz.
I have no experience at all with FaceBook, except that I heard it was more "Grown Up" then MySpace.
I am in Linked-in, but I havenot developed that much.
