Hey brilliant web people

Is it possible in any way to have the blog note the posts that have new comments since last one was here? Or maybe it could list all the comments in the sidebar with a date and time they were posted? That way old threads could keep going after they moved down a few feet in the scroll, and it would make it easier to know which threads are more active, less active, etc....
Maybe there's another template out there that deals with that issue? I just keep losing track of which threads I've commented on, and where I should look for witty responses.

that sound's like a great initiation for the new guy. Figure out a more OMI friendly format for the blog.
te.he.tee.hee.
We talked about changing formats a while ago (when I first got involved) not sure what happened there.
A more tradional "forum" format mabye?

I agree 100%
I have recently found a template with a similar format that displays the comments in a more open manner. However I think there is a more interactive design out there. I will email the group a screen shot for approval before making any change. I will endeavor to get it up and running with in a weeks time.

Between the email and the postings, looks like people might be into this idea. I'll take a look at all this stuff and put in my two cents, but I trust the gurus among us to chose the proper code!

The phorum site Peter sent uses Cascading style sheets instead of XSL, that's good because that is what is in use already here. I imagine their source code could be copied and tweaked to suit our needs. Of course I've never done it before so I'm sure I've way understated the work that would be involved.
