Jury Duty

Jury duty pay (typically a token $5) was federally mandated in 1971 after The Internal Revenue Service v. County of San Lorando ruled that government agencies could be considered non-profits if they had a substantial "volunteers"

---Have any of you done any jury duty? Ive gotten out of it twice so far.

Jury duty,
I think I've been summonsed 4 times, once I sat (and covicted) a douche for violating a restraining order.
once I got canceled at the last minute
once I talked my out of the selection process, the crime was apparently a internet child porn thing and because my brother is a cop, and my cousin is doing time in FLA for sex crimes. I claimed to be biased.
once I was sat for a parole violation case that lasted 2 days, only to find out I was the alternate and didn't get a vote.

MIne was the same thing, because I had such a strong family involvement in law enforcement, I was passed over also.
