Gotta love Mondays!!!

---Well, its wet and gloomy today just as the weather people had projected it to be. I like these days once in a while, but after having a winter like we did where the days were clouded up by snowfall, I want the sun to shine upon my face.

Im really worried, well, OK, not worried per say, but just generally concerned that my ex is gonna bottle all the feeling of her Dad's death up inside and its gonna get messy. She cant be doing that with our daughter running around her house. Its just not a good idea. Ive bugged the hell outta her about it and so far its working. I mean hell, I was in her shoes just a few months ago and yeah, its sucks...bad. But I told her, like I have done, you gotta work through those emotions. Shes gonna deal with anger, confusion, pain and so much more. She needs a good cry, but it may be too early for that.

So, Mike Ness is playing 2 solo dates, one in May (I think) and one in July and I cant figure out why, prolly just for fun. They are in the studio right now working on the next album, that I have been told. That makes me super excited, even though I already have 5 of their new songs that I somehow managed to have land in my lap, I still cant wait to hear them as part of the full record.

Mondays suck.

Gosh, I wish I wasnt still in love with my ex.---

Hey boys, sorry I have not been around much, My wife is in uber nesting mode and I have a million projects going on all at once... I wish I had the time to tell you of them.

Nesting mode is fun. I hope she is getting enough rest.

Are you building a time machine again Scott?

No we bought one with only "cosmetic changes", but I am changing every thing cosmetic!!!! every wall needs to be a different color, every door knob needs to be of a different finish, all the flooring has to be changed... ect!

It is a really nice home, our yard is ample the building is only 17 years old (no infrastructure issues at all).

I am only complaining because I am tired and cant keep up with my wifes list of demands.

Last weekend my dad and I punched a hole in the wall that separates the living room from the family room. After we pulled down the wall board and could see the double studs that comprised this load baring wall, I said to my dad wow double studs I'm glad I invited you to help, I have never done a load baring wall before and this one kind of intimidates me. My dad just laughed and said oh well I have never put a door in a load bearing wall either! Fortunately we both agreed that we had seen it done before and felt confident that we understood the mechanics of constructing a proper header and rough opening.

Now that I have a simple (but well executed) rough opening in my living room, I am helping my wife redesign the whole kitchen which I will begin working on immediately. Any how like I said its great to have a good home and the opportunity to make that changes you want, I only wish my wife didn't want them all done in internet time!
