random thoughts

I am sick and tired of war. It's glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengence, for desolation. War is hell.

I love it when people have a change of heart, and mend their ways. this guy Sherman... he killed thousands, and destroyed unbeleiveble amounts of proprety. He begins to see the reaper and decides, oops, Didn't mean it. I was wrong.

I don't know if he said he regretted what he did. He said war sucks and is not a glorious endeavor, he never said it wasn't sometimes necessary.

I think war is sometimes and obviously necessary at times too. Maybe not right now though, at least not anymore.

Yeah, I took out the part of my post that I was not trying to comment on any current events as it seemed a little gratuitous. This whole thing reminds me of a sign I saw created by a Protest Warrior; "Besides ending slavery, fascism and communism, war never solved anything." Simplistic and not entirely accurate, but it gets the point across. Sometimes you have to fight.
